The Bachelor of Business is designed to prepare graduates for entering the workforce in entry level positions in the professions of accounting, management or marketing and beyond. An introduction to each key field of business through the core units in the first year allows students to make a more informed decision when they choose their specialisation stream and course structure in their second year of the Bachelor of Business.<br><br>To achieve this end the Bachelor of Business has a core of ten units which provides the graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the business world and how each aspect fits into the larger picture of business. The course also contains 10 specialisation units relevant to each specialisation of the Bachelor program and four elective units which are designed to complement the CORE and to provide additional in-depth knowledge and expertise in the discipline of Business.<br><br>The course is designed to provide students with an introduction to Business in the first academic year, progressively building and specialising to the final year which is culminated with a capstone unit which the students will work on an industry-based project with a client to solve real world issues. Our students have developed the top 10 skills for future jobs in 2025 as identified by the World Economic Forum through the projects that they have completed. These skills are important for problem-solving, self-management, working with people and technology use and development. Our students gain a strong exposure to different clients and markets including Australia Post, Officeworks, Woolworths, IOT technology, wave energy, carbon capture and storage.
