Research at Roehampton Business School is focused on producing world class impactful research on a range of contemporary issues affecting global businesses, public and private organisations and their managers. Our primary focus is on research that helps to build sustainable organisations and enterprises that are effective, ethical and promote social justice. <br><br>To support this vision, we have sought to build a substantial research base, establish high quality external collaborations and grow our doctoral programme. Research at RBS is organised across three research clusters (Accounting, Finance and Economics, Marketing and Supply Chain Management, People, Organisation and Strategy), with a critical mass of leading researchers and doctoral students who collectively enrich our lively and ambitious research culture.<br>A PhD is for students who wish to devise an independent research project which will result in an original contribution to knowledge in the subject area. Students can study on a full-time or a part-time basis and programmes begin in October and January.<br><br>You will be expected to have formulated an outline research proposal only at the application stage. You will spend the first months of your course developing your proposal under the guidance of your supervisory team.
