Marketing communications are messages and related media used to communicate with a market. This programme explores and investigates the marketing communications business, how marketing communications work, how to plan a marketing communications campaign, and ethical considerations when implementing marketing communications in practice.You will learn about organisational decision-making processes and how to define and solve marketing communications problems. You will also examine how marketeers formulate and implement policies, programmes and strategies, and consider marketing communications theory and practice in a range of industries and organisations, so you can identify appropriate practical tools.Our academic staff are active researchers as well as enthusiastic teachers, and regularly publish cutting-edge articles in the world's leading marketing journals. We have particular research strengths in international business and strategy, the management of innovation and entrepreneurship, human resource management, corporate governance, sport management and marketing, as well as financial management and accounting.Our MSc Marketing suite (consisting of MSc Marketing, International Marketing, Marketing Communications and Sport Marketing) has been mapped against CIM/CAM qualifications to offer our students exemptions.
