The sports industry needs more talented marketing professionals who understand the sector. We created the first sports marketing degree in the country to fill this gap. And weve worked with experts in the industry to make it as useful as possible for your career. Throughout the course youll learn what makes sports marketing so special. Youll develop key skills in areas like brand management, licensing and commercial sponsorship. The course prepares you for real life in the industry. So, youll complete practical projects like developing a club's fan base, launching a sportswear range or attracting a media partner for a new venue. To add even more to your CV, you can spend a year on placement with an employer, or go abroad to study at one of our partner universities. We provide plenty of opportunities for you to learn from experts in the industry. We organise guest lectures and help you volunteer atsports organisations and events. We have links with the likes of Manchester City Football Group, GB Taekwondo and British Cycling. Length: 3 years full-time, 4 years with placement, 4 years with overseas study.
