The BAdvBus(Hons) is a 4 year degree aimed at high achieving students seeking an advanced option to study business. Students can select from two pathways: the professional pathway allows students to take up to two majors from the Business School's specialist teaching areas of: accounting, business analytics, business information systems, finance, human resources, innovation and entrepreneurship, international business, and marketing, while the research pathway is offered via a thesis for students who may wish to enter a PhD. Honours is awarded to all graduates of this program, which means you will have a globally recognised degree that will stand out in a competitive job market. This major is for anyone who wants to work in banking and finance, investment and portfolio management, corporate finance, risk assessment, or business analysis. It will teach you to use research methods to understand financial problems, as well as debt and equity capital markets, funds management, real estate as an asset class, and private equity.
