Entry into the Master's degree requires:

Entry into the Master's degree requires:
A Bachelor's degree with a credit average and a major or equivalent in journalism, media studies or communications or relevant disciplines as determined by the College, such as a Bachelor of Science or Marketing, or:
completion of the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Strategic Communication, or,
work experience of at least three years in journalism, public relations, or event management, and related professions, including science communication or marketing.
Candidates for the Masters of Strategic Communication may be eligible for a reduction in the volume of learning of up to 50 credit points of Elective units if entering the course with the following background,
an Honours degree at Level 8 or higher in the Australian Qualifications Framework in journalism, media studies or communication,
professional experience in a relevant field equivalent to level 8 of the Australian Qualifications Framework.
IELTS (Academic) 7.0 (no individual band less than 6.5)
TOEFL (iBT) 100 (no skill below: Reading 21, Listening 21, Speaking 21, Writing 25)
