国际学生入学条件

The Master of Research equips students with intensive research preparation before beginning doctoral study. The minimum requirement for admission to an MRes degree is:

Bachelor or higher award from a recognised institution
MQ Graduates (from 2020 onwards): An overall WAM of 65+ and a WAM of 70+ at or above 3000 level
All Other Applicants: Minimum overall GPA of 4.38 on a 7 point scale and GPA of 5.25 at or above 3000 level
A research proposal (a short paragraph is sufficient).
IELTS - 6.5 (6.0 in each sub score) ,TOEFL ibt - 83 (R 13 , W 21, L 12, S 18)

课程简介

The Master of Research in Arts offers a unique combination of advanced coursework and research training. The first year consists of advanced undergraduate study exploring cutting-edge research in your discipline. The second year is a master-level postgraduate research training program. Youll specialise in research preparation and focus on a specific research topic at the sub-discipline level to deliver a thesis (up to 20,000 words).This research training pathway is consistent with international pathways and, if you aspire to, youll be well-equipped to complete a PhD in three years, well short of the national average. The learning outcomes of the Master of Research also provide a strong background for a number of employment opportunities. The degree can be completed in two years full-time.
