Immerse yourself in a unique and multidisciplinary approach to innovative thinking in design practice at UC. With a focus on the issues of sustainability, climate change, globalisation, new technologies and social consciousness, innovation lives at the core of our approach. Study a Bachelor of Design at UC and you will learn the aesthetic, functional, economic and socio-political dimensions of design, discover how design operates in a rapidly changing, technologically innovative and socially conscious world, gain the specialised knowledge and broader problem solving and creative thinking skills needed to be a designer today, learn both traditional and contemporary design theory, have the opportunity to develop areas of personal inspiration through a choice of majors in landscape design, industrial design and/or interior architecture, be work ready for an exciting, complex and multidisciplinary industry.
