This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 (no component lower than 6.0). TOEFL (paper based) - 570. TOEFL (internet based) - 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands)
Completion of the Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Southern Queensland, or other recognised bachelor's degree in law from a recognised university with a pass at either:
a credit level (grade point average of 5.0/7, that is 71.4 per cent) in the entire program and permission of the relevant Program Coordinator
a grade point average of 5.2/7 (75 per cent) in the third level of the Bachelor of Laws program, including an 'A' or better level pass in at least one course.
For a candidate with equivalent qualifications, special permission of the Executive Dean on the advice of the relevant Program Coordinator is required.

If you would like to enhance your employment opportunities, advance your knowledge and skills in a specialist area of Law and build valuable research skills, USQ's Bachelor of Law (Honours) is the only graduate Honours program for a law degree in Australia. Under the guidance of our lectures you will study legal research methods, complete two major research projects in areas of law you are passionate about and make a difference to society in a meaningful way. Collectively, our lecturers have a wealth of experience in a diverse range of backgrounds, including, criminal law, human rights, international and comparative law, ethics, family and succession law, environmental and natural resources law, commercial and taxation law, and public law and policy.
