Corporate law is a rigorous but hugely rewarding degree that gives ambitious individuals the opportunity to combine an intellectually challenging curriculum with a commercial focus. You will study at our Salford campus close to Manchester city centre.As with all programmes at Salford Business School, the modules studied throughout the course are career-focused and industry-relevant, designed around the current needs of employers and the law profession. Preparing students for career success is a priority at Salford Business School and we place great emphasis on the development your professional skills. You will have the opportunity to shadow working lawyers and judges, practise your learning during a year's work placement and develop your client care skills by helping people looking for support from our legal advice schemes. In this way, you learn to put your academic knowledge into practice.<br><br>Our Law programme is recognised by both the Bar Standards Board and the Solicitors Regulation Authority, meaning your studies satisfy the requirements of the legal professional bodies for the award of a qualifying law degree.The course begins by developing your understanding of key legal and business concepts. As the course progresses, your knowledge of corporate law and the ways in which it impacts business will be expanded. Optional modules give you the opportunity to specialise according to your personal interests or the direction you hope to take your career in.The course is delivered by a team with a wealth of academic and industry experience. A combination of lectures, seminars, workshops and mooting exercises are used across the modules to give a varied experience and to further develop your interpersonal skills.
