This programme is designed for students who have completed a good high school education that consists of at least 12 years study. For full country specific entry requirements and qualification equivalencies visit: qmul.ac.uk/international/countries
Applicants who have studied A levels in the UK will be considered on a case by case basis.
If you have taken both GCSE and A level exams (or equivalent qualifications) in the UK you will not be considered for admission to this programme. In such cases we recommend that you apply for the relevant three year programme with entry in year 1.
Minimum of IELTS 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
TOEFL: 79 overall including 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading, and 20 in Speaking.

The 2008 financial crisis showed us how regional events can have massive global consequences. Understanding financial decision-making, risk management and the behaviour of global financial markets has never been so important.<br><br>You'll develop an international perspective from the first semester, with a module on the world economy. You'll cover macroeconomics and microeconomics, and learn to apply quantitative techniques. You'll also study financial topics such as international finance and international trade.<br><br>With a wide choice of modules in the final year, you can direct your studies to your interests or career goals, from behavioural economics to corporate strategy and the finance of emerging markets.
