This course requires successful completion of 240 credit points which includes eight core subjects, eight major subjects taken as a Social Science specialisation and eight elective subjects which can be chosen from any discipline available at Sydney City Campus.<br><br>The Bachelor of Social Science, Criminology and Criminal Justice major offers you the opportunity to study crime and criminal justice in a critical way that stresses the social and cultural definitions of criminality.<br><br>If you are interested in the complexities of detection, prevention and correction, or the cultural and social factors of criminality, the Bachelor of Social Science with a major in Criminology and Criminal Justice could be the degree for you. A bachelor's degree usually consists of 24 subjects. With our flexible academic calendar, you can study 12 subjects in one year over three trimesters. However, we recommend that you undertake a maximum of 3 subjects per trimester so that your study load is not too demanding.
