It is a requirement that applicants have some relevant work experience with a vulnerable client group (voluntary or paid), this does not need to be in a forensic setting.
Applicants do not need to have completed a psychology degree recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as Graduate basis fro chartership (GBC). However, if applicants do not have GBC then they need to be aware that unless they obtain GBC from the BPS they will not be able to progress to Stage 2 Forensic Chartership after completing this MSc.
TOEFL iBT 108 or above with minimum scores in components as follows: Listening 24, Writing 24, Reading 24, Speaking 24
International Baccalaureate Standard Level 5
IELTS - Overall 7.5 with no band below 7.0

课程简介
The MSc Investigative & Forensic Psychology is a one year, full-time postgraduate programme. It is accredited by the British Psychological Society annually and recognised as the first step towards status as a Chartered Forensic Psychologist in the UK for students who have Graduate Basis for Chartership. The course is also recognised by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) as a Research Methods MSc and students taking this course are eligible for the ESRC 1 3 studentships.<br><br>The MSc provides students with a high quality, balanced postgraduate programme of research and academic knowledge including, awareness of professional, legal and ethical issues, and practical, communication and dissemination skills in Investigative and Forensic Psychology. The programme takes a three-tiered approach.<br><br>Programme duration: Full-time: 12 months
