Our French with a year abroad BA course is stimulating and varied. Our modules in the French language focus on gaining high-level skills in written and oral French, which are complemented by optional modules across a range of French and Francophone literature, culture, history and politics - from the Middle Ages to modern day. You will develop critical thinking and analysis skills, whilst specialising in your own areas of interest. You will be taught in the heart of London, and you will also spend one year studying abroad in a French-speaking country. Third year studying abroad providing you with excellent opportunities for immersion in French culture and society.<br><br>This is a four-year course in which you will take modules totalling 120 credits for each year of study at King?s, alongside credits for the year abroad. We offer specialised modules in French language and translation that will enable you to speak and write at a sophisticated level. You will also choose from a range of optional modules in French literature, culture, history and politics, all taught by internationally recognised lecturers.
