This award is designed to allow you to choose your path: it can be the first year of your Bachelor of Arts study, or you may enrol in this degree to pursue your passion and undertake one of the majors in the Bachelor of Arts, or if you decide you would like to extend your curiosity and try units from a number of disciplines. It considers problems and concerns arising from art, literature, science, law, religion, and many other human endeavors, along with the basic matter of an ethical engagement with the world. Philosophy also gives you skills in analysis, reasoning, and clear and cogent communication – highly valued attributes across all study areas in the Bachelor of Arts as well as contemporary professions.
