The typical A-Level requirements for this course are BBB-BBC, IB:30-32 or equivalent UCAS Tariff points. The course provides a rigorous and wide-ranging study of international relations, combined with a significant grounding in English Language Studies. It covers political theory, political history, comparative political analysis, area studies, international relations. Students will develop important skills of value to employers: the ability to analyse concepts, write well, assess published work, communicate (including making oral presentations), determine the validity of opposing points of view, and undertake independent research.
