Painting at the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design is a place and space for makersfor painters who expect to innovate, challenge and be challenged, dig deep, and get their hands dirty. Our courses cover a range of painting practices from observational and narrative art to abstract and material investigations. By facilitating the development of painting as a means of individual expression, reflection, and communication, we encourage our students to cultivate their own points of view. The diverse techniques explored within the program allow students to research traditional skills alongside dynamic new approaches in the field.
