课程简介

The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program in art with a concentration in printmaking is a 3-year program and has a 40-year history of producing top MFA professionals in this field. Alumni of this graduate program are located in art faculty and art administration positions throughout the country. Students pursuing the MFA in art with a concentration in Printmaking are encouraged to investigate printmaking and the hybrid technologies that may inform their printmaking, encouraging experimentation. In the past, students have incorporated photography, sculpture and painting into their practice. After assisting faculty their first year, students may be awarded the opportunity to teach their own classes in printmaking and foundations. To complete the requirements for the MFA degree, the student is required to write a report, pass an oral review, and have a public exhibition of thesis work.
