The Bachelors of Arts in Theatre is a comprehensive degree. The theatre student is exposed to all facets of theatrical training and is provided with numerous opportunities to utilize his/her skills both on and off stage. The following handbook will provide invaluable information about the program and the unique responsibilities of the theatre major.<br><br>All theatre majors take core classes covering acting, script analysis, design/technology, and theatre history and literature. This will provide you with a strong foundation of knowledge preparing you for whatever specialty you wish to pursue. For breadth, you are required to select one performance course, one design course, one literature course, and one theatre education course from lists provided. In addition, you select electives dependent on your individual needs. You are required to participate in at least seven productions, take Theatre Company four times, and complete a senior project.
