When applying to a Seneca certificate program you must submit:
High school transcripts for grades 10, 11 and 12 showing all program specific pre-requisite courses.
High school/secondary school diploma (certificate of completion).
You may submit transcripts or certificates for any completed university/postsecondary college courses or programs taken inside or outside of Canada.
Academic records that are in a language other than English must include an official/certified English translation.
IELTS Academic - Minimum 6.0 with no skill below 5.5, TOEFL iBT - Minimum 80 with no skill below 20 , TOEFL Revised Paper Delivered - No skill below 20

The eight-month Art Fundamentals (AFD) certificate program provides a strong foundation in traditional and digital art. Designed to build skills in art, design, creativity, communication and critical thinking, AFD will prepare you for further education and a career path in fields such as animation, illustration and graphic design. You will experience hands-on learning under the guidance of working artists.This program will equip you with the knowledge and grounds to apply to other specialized art programs.<br>Upon completion of this program, you will be prepared to pursue a further postsecondary education in communication arts and traditional arts which may lead to a career path in the visual art industry.
