The MM program in performance with a concentration in collaborative piano gives students the opportunity to perform with all instrumental areas and voice, focusing on collaborative endeavors such as song recitals, instrumental duos and chamber music, operatic and musical theatre productions, and participation in large ensembles.<br><br>Students refine their pianistic technique while developing the specific knowledge and abilities necessary to be skilled and sensitive musical collaborators. Collaborative piano students have an impact on every area of the School of Music, Dance and Theatre, and their work with opera and musical theatre singers, orchestral instrumentalists, choral and large ensembles, composers, theatre artists and dance colleagues leads toward advanced careers in music.
