Undergraduate Music Studies at K-State offers a well-balanced and rigorous curriculum for undergraduate students. From diverse course offerings such as World Music for all freshmen music majors and minors to one-on-one instruction from top faculty members, our undergraduates benefit from individual attention through engaged learning, advising, mentoring, and ensemble environments that build musical, research, collaborative, and leadership skills. These skills help our graduates to become top professionals in fields from music education to performance, and many of our graduates also choose to continue study at leading graduate programs. The Music Program of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Kansas State University, a program fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. A four-year program is offered with concentrations in piano, organ, voice, strings, wind or percussion instruments, music theatre, and composition.
