Satisfactory completion of Year 12, or Certificate III or higher in Health, Youth, Community or Lifestyle related area, or the Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing studies, or overseas equivalent. Academic IELTS score of 6.0 Overall with minimum of 5.5 in all bands or equivalent. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - iBT Score of 60, with reading: 8-12, listening: 7-11, speaking: 16-17, and writing: 18-20.

Primary Health encompasses an understanding of the social, economic, cultural and political causes of health. It is embraced by the World Health Organisation as it is the first level of contact individuals, families and communities have with the healthcare system. This is a unique course offered at this level in Australia. People in health or community services-related professions or considering study in these fields will benefit from the course, which will help them introduce primary health and wellbeing principles into their everyday work and life experiences. The course offers excellent support in students' transition from high school, VET qualifications or existing professional qualifications. Students will learn in a university like environment in small class sizes, with one-on-one support from academic staff.
