You're fascinated by health and love helping others to be their best selves. This program will bring that passion to life, with the opportunity to major in health promotion, health services management, therapeutic recreation or public health. This program gives you the opportunity to combine study with access to practical experience, to reach your full potential. You can also select to major in two areas of health science, giving you the expertise and edge for your future career. When you successfully complete the 16-month diploma from The College, you gain guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Health Science at Western Sydney University.<br>This program applies to students who commenced in Term 3, 2020 or later. Students should follow the program structure for the session start date relevant to the year they commenced. This program is delivered by Western Sydney University, The College as an agent of Western Sydney University.<br><br>This program is designed to provide students with the first year subjects included in the Health Science degree. The inclusion of additional preparatory subjects is designed to assist students in the transition to study at University level. The Diploma is delivered via extended face to face hours in an environment focused specifically on supporting students to make the transition into university study. Students who successfully complete the Diploma in Health Science Extended will articulate into: Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion, Health Services Management, Recreational Therapy, Public Health and Clinical Sciences) at Western Sydney University with up to one year (80 CPs) equivalent of advanced standing.
