This course will provide you with a valuable foundation year by developing your understanding of the health and social care professions, academic confidence and ability. The course also guarantees an interview for entry to professional Health and Social Care degrees at University of Gloucestershire.<br><br>If you're looking for an exhilarating and rewarding career at the frontline of health and social care, we'll equip you with the knowledge and experience you need to be successful. You'll gain experience and knowledge in contemporary health and social care contexts, all preparing for your future professional career in a dynamic, in-demand role.<br><br>If you're already employed, this course will allow you to continue to earn while you study, as it's a day-release programme. You'll gain the confidence, essential academic theory and practical abilities for a career in health and social care settings – giving you the opportunity to progress onto a relevant full (3 year) degree with us. You'll be guaranteed an interview for our Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Learning Disability Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Operating Departmental Practice or Social Work programmes, and we'll fully support you in creating your application and preparing for the interview.
