Minimum Selection Rank required for consideration: 65.00
In order to be eligible to transfer into the Honours stream at the beginning of Year 4, students will have to obtain a credit grade in half of their Year 2 and Year 3 subjects, with no fails and completion in minimum time. The minimum GPA requirement is 4.50. Transfer is also subject to the availability of a suitable research project, funding and supervisor.
A completed High School Certificate with an ATAR of 65 (including adjustment factors) or equivalent.
OR
Successful completion of two University level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
OR
A completed AQF Certificate III or higher level qualification.
OR
50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification.
OR
A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
OR
A minimum of three years relevant work experience AND documentary evidence of motivation to undertake university study in animal science. Such evidence must include a statement by the applicant addressing their work experience, the reason(s) for their interest in the course and what they have done (or will do) to prepare for the course. A statement of support (recommendation) from an employer or a professional person is highly desirable.
A certified written statement from the school, college or university.
A TOEFL paper-based score of 550 .
A TOEFL Internet-based score of 60
An Academic IELTS (International English Language Testing System) overall score of at least 6.0, with no score below 5.5.
