The Certificate III in Pathology Collection will give you the knowledge and skills to work as a pathology collector in the private pathology sector, medical clinics and hospital settings.You will be trained in areas including phlebotomy (blood collection), infection control, ECG, first aid, customer service, work organisation and medical terminology.The course is delivered in Holmesglen's specialised pathology and biotechnology education facility, where an emphasis is placed on practical training. You will practise your newly acquired skills in our fully operational clinical skills laboratory, giving you the opportunities to refine your skills so you feel confident entering the workforce.Our teachers are all qualified pathology collectors with current industry experience.
