Students will be required to:
Fill out the online application
Supply transcripts as requested
Supply GPA of 3.0 on the last 60 units and have taken the GRE
Submit the required transcripts and GRE scores. All applicants are required to submit GRE scores.
3.0 GPA in last 60 units/ Prerequisites/ GRE/ Transcripts/ Personal Statement/ 3 Letters of Recommendation
There is no minimum GPA requirement for the MPH program. GRE scores are considered along with GPA, letters of recommendation, work experience, and statement of purpose.
Student shall (1) hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, or have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by appropriate campus authorities, (2) be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended, (3) have satisfied any one of the following: [a] attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree, or [b] attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) attempted, or [c] hold an acceptable post-baccalaureate degree earned at an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, and (4) satisfactorily meet the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as appropriate campus authorities may prescribe

IELTS – 6.5
TOEFL PAPER - 550

This is accomplished by educating graduate students to be effective leaders and practitioners at the local, national, and international levels. Our program future healthcare practitioners with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to effectively conduct public health assessments, program planning, implementation and evaluation, and applied research to address the needs of our communities.<br>A unique aspect of the Master of Public Health Program is that it addresses the health needs of the ethnically and socio-economically diverse communities living in the San Joaquin Valley of California. By improving the health of communities, we are committed to the pursuit of knowledge, professionalism, advocacy, diversity, and scholarship. The vision of the Master of Public Health program is to create healthy communities through sustainable public health strategies that address diversity, health equity and radical disparities.<br>The program also emphasizes community service with the underserved counties and state agencies, as well as develops professional opportunities for Master of Public Health program students and graduates.<br>Utilize a competency-based curriculum planning and evaluation system in order to be able to effectively evaluate the public health knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students.<br>Ensure all MPH students are prepared to assume leadership roles in a public health and health education settings.
