The Master of Public Health Program at Fresno State admits students who demonstrate high academic ability and promise and who have professional experience in the field. Applicants are expected to have a high standard of academic and professional preparation for this program and the ability to make significant contributions to the program.

Submit the required transcripts and GRE scores. All applicants are required to submit GRE scores.

be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended, (3) have satisfied any one of the following: [a] attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree, or [b] attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) attempted, or [c] hold an acceptable post-baccalaureate degree earned at an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, and (4) satisfactorily meet the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as appropriate campus authorities may prescribe
have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree, OR
have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 (A = 4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted

This is accomplished by educating graduate students to be effective leaders and practitioners at the local, national, and international levels. Our program future healthcare practitioners with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to effectively conduct public health assessments, program planning, implementation and evaluation, and applied research to address the needs of our communities.<br>A unique aspect of the Master of Public Health Program is that it addresses the health needs of the ethnically and socio-economically diverse communities living in the San Joaquin Valley of California. By improving the health of communities, we are committed to the pursuit of knowledge, professionalism, advocacy, diversity, and scholarship. The vision of the Master of Public Health program is to create healthy communities through sustainable public health strategies that address diversity, health equity and radical disparities.<br>The program also emphasizes community service with the underserved counties and state agencies, as well as develops professional opportunities for Master of Public Health program students and graduates
