传播科学与疾病科学学士学位需要至少120-121小时的时间，并辅修心理学。在120-121小时中，CSDO课程为36小时，未成年人心理学课程为18小时。学生还必须满足德州农工大学-金斯维尔目录中指定的常规教育要求，沟通技能要求，居住条件和所有学位要求。此外，任何CSDO本科专业要求的最低GPA至少为2.75。我们还要求在完成前四个核心专业课程后，保持B平均（CSDO 3.0 GPA）。
The undergraduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders prepares students with background knowledge and training to apply for a graduate program in audiology and speech-language pathology (SLP) or to work as a speech language pathology assistant upon completion of clinical practicum with an employer after graduation. A Master's Degree in communication sciences and disorders is required in order to be a licensed speech-language pathologist in the State of Texas. The College of Arts and Sciences is unique in offering students a broad-based, liberal arts education transmitting a core of knowledge and cultural values.
