An interview with selected DNP faculty after the application is completed
A statistics course and health assessment course at the undergraduate level are required prerequisite courses

The DNP Adult/Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) Concentration graduate will be prepared to provide quality primary care and advanced clinical skills to optimize health outcomes for adults from adolescence to end of life. Graduates are prepared to practice in primary care settings, including offices and clinics, outpatient specialties, long-term care, health care systems, and provide wellness and health promotion services. Graduates serve in academic teaching roles and clinical leadership positions. Graduates are prepared for the Adult/Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner national certification exams.<br><br>The School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). <br>Consistently recognized by the National League for Nursing as a Center for Excellence in Nursing Education since 2005.<br>Clinical placements are arranged by the School of Nursing.<br>A diverse student body in the program. <br>A state-of-the-art teaching facility designed for the education of advanced practice nurses.<br>Faculty are engaged in active practice.
