Transcripts for all high school and post-high school institutions attended.
All transcripts must be submitted in English or translated into English by a professional translation company.
Transfer students who studied outside the US must submit a NACES evaluation in order to receive transfer credit.
Proof of English language proficiency testing (we accept IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, SAT and ACT).
Applicants may be eligible for an English language proficiency testing waiver based on citizenship and/or prior education where English is the first language.

For those just beginning in their careers or those seeking a career change, the nursing profession offers a broad range of roles and options in meeting the health needs of individuals, families, communities and populations. The School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preparing new nurses through two tracks:<br><br>Full-time day track<br>Accelerated 2nd degree track-a 16-month program for students who already hold a baccalaureate degree in another field. This track offers admission in the Summer, Spring, and Fall.<br>ntegrate knowledge from the liberal arts and sciences when providing professional nursing care to diverse individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations throughout the life span and across the continuum of healthcare settings.<br>Identify principles of leadership and management for quality improvement and patient safety to the delivery of high quality professional nursing care within current cultural, economic, organizational, and political perspectives.<br>Integrate evidence-based best practices into professional nursing practice to improve patient outcomes.<br>Use information technology ethically to support evidence-based practice, decision-making, and demonstrate competence using patient care technology in the delivery of quality patient care across the continuum of care.<br>Examine healthcare, financial, and regulatory policies that influence the practice of professional nursing and access to care and promote advocacy for consumers and the profession.<br>Collaborate with members of the interprofessional team to improve communication to provide patient centered care.<br>Provide population-based professional nursing care that integrates concepts of demographics, social determinants of health, health promotion, disease and injury prevention, risk assessment, genetics/genomics, equity, and resource utilization in the delivery of quality and safe care.<br>Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in nursing practice applying professional values of altruism, autonomy, human dignity, integrity, and social justice.<br>Apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes using clinical reasoning to develop nursing interventions that recognize culture, spirituality, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, and sexual orientation in the delivery of professional nursing care to all consumers across the lifespan.
