Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. Application to CMC accompanied by current fee. Evidence of a Graduate Record Exam (GRE) with a score of 293 (950) is preferred (MAT scores are not accepted). A grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all undergraduate work after high school. A grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all basic undergraduate science courses taken (Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology and Microbiology). Completion of an Advanced Human Physiology with the past 3 years (graduate level). An essay (statement of purpose), limited to a single page, describing the applicant's experience and objective in undertaking graduate study in the chosen specialty. For the three letters of recommendation required by the Graduate School, all must be from persons familiar with the applicant's professional qualifications, such as clinical manager or supervisor, academic professor, or physician. A minimum of 18 months of current full time critical care experience with adult clients prior to matriculation: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Minimum Score Required: 557 paper-based or 83 Internet-based. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Minimum Score Required: Overall band score of 6.5.
