Will have attained a high school diploma, or its equivalent, by the end of Spring prior to the desired Fall admission term, and
Have not earned college credit beyond the summer immediately following high school graduation.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- Band 5.5 or higher

The professional nursing curriculum leads to the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing (BSN). The School of Nursing offers 4 options for attaining the BSN degree that include the: basic pre-licensure BSN program, RN to BSN transfer program, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) to BSN collaborative program, and B.S. accelerated program. Each program, with its corresponding admission and graduation requirements, is listed below. The undergraduate program is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The nursing curriculum prepares nurses for professional careers in the maintenance and promotion of health and in supportive, preventive, therapeutic, and restorative nursing care for individuals, families, and communities in institutional and community-based settings.Students who complete the undergraduate program will have acquired knowledge and skills specific to generalized professional nursing practice and will be qualified to assume leadership roles. Students who complete the graduate program will be prepared to function in advanced nursing practice roles as nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, or case managers or in nursing administration or education roles.
