To be eligible for admission on the basis of High School or Mature Standing, applicants must present a minimum admission average of 70% on their five appropriate Grade 12 subjects for high school standing and 4 required subjects for mature standing. To be eligible for admission on the basis of Post-secondary Standing, applicants must present a minimum GPA of 2.5 on the eight most recently completed post-secondary courses (minimum 24 credits).High school: High School applicants must present five Grade 12 level courses for admission. Included in these five courses, applicants must present the required subjects for their intended program of choice. The specific courses required for your program count towards your Group A courses. The additional subject(s) which may be presented for admission include the following courses from Group A, B, or C.
High School/Secondary and/or Post-secondary (transferable to MRU) courses
2 years of full-time study in English (see list of English-speaking countries below) and English Language Arts 30 1 (equivalent)
TOEFL iBT - 86 (min. 20 in each of four sections)
IELTS - 6.5 (min. 5.5 on each band)

The Bachelor of Nursing Program is a four-year degree program. This degree program prepares students for professional careers as Registered Nurses in a variety of settings. Students will benefit from the program's learner-centred approach and a strong emphasis on nursing practice preparation and specialization opportunities.<br>The program is offered over four Fall and Winter academic years with required Spring Semesters. Most courses will be offered in both the Fall and the Winter Semesters. Students completing all degree requirements will be awarded a Bachelor of Nursing (BN) degree from Mount Royal University.<br>Learn about health, wellness, collaborative health care and how to effectively engage with communities. Prepare for professional practice in a variety of health-care settings and capitalize on the demand for nursing graduates in Alberta, Canada and around the world. Graduates are prepared to write the required National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and become Registered Nurses.<br><br>The Bachelor of Nursing degree is designed to meet the accreditation requirements of the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing, the body that establishes and promotes national standards of excellence for nursing education in Canada.<br><br>Nursing education prepares students to meet the entry-level competencies necessary to be knowledgeable, skilled and competent to practise nursing safely and ethically.
