Applicants must provide proof that they have earned a master's, DPT, or other advanced degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. university or college. A degree in physical therapy is not required. Applicants from all health- or rehabilitation-related backgrounds (e.g., kinesiology, occupational therapy, exercise science, biomedical or rehabilitation engineering, etc.) are welcomed.

Acceptance for graduate study at Drexel University requires a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or an equivalent international institution. Although admission requirements vary by program, regular acceptance typically requires a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (B) for undergraduate work. The average for any graduate work must be at least 3.0. Applicants for post-master's status must show potential for further study by having maintained at least a 3.0 average in their master's-level studies. (Individual departmental requirements may exceed this minimum.)

Official transcripts must be sent directly to Drexel from all the colleges/universities that you have attended.



TOEFL scores are required for international applicants or applicants who earned a degree outside the U.S. (minimum scores: 90/577/233). Scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores. IELTS scores may be submitted in lieu of TOEFL scores (minimum Overall Band Score: 6.5).
