Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
Minimum 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) cumulative GPA on most recently conferred degree. However, for those applicants whose GPAs fall in the 2.8 to 2.99 range, consideration can be given to professional experience working in healthcare. Students below 2.8 are not encouraged to apply.
Applicants with international degrees must have their academic records evaluated by a member agency of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
Three letters of recommendation indicating that the applicant possesses the aptitude and ambition to complete a course of study for the M.H.A. degree. Preferably, letters should be from current or previous employers and/or from last school attended.
Statement of goals and career interests.
Curriculum vitae or resume.
If English is not the native language, a student must submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Score Report documenting an internet-based score of 90 or above. The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) can also be accepted documenting a score in the 6.5 band or above. Exception to this requirement may be granted if the applicant is a U.S. resident and a graduate of a U.S. college within the previous two years.
If accepted, international applicants must also submit a Request for Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20 AB) and a Declaration and Certificate of Finances.
