课程简介
The bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology is a pre-professional program that provides required coursework and clinical experiences for graduate school admission to complete the student's professional education. This program combines a broad liberal arts undergraduate curriculum with strong academic coursework and practicum opportunities as a background for the management of communication and swallowing disorders. The program in speech-language pathology prepares students for graduate study since the master's degree is the entry level into the profession.<br>Students who complete the undergraduate program in speech-language pathology will demonstrate:<br>Knowledge of normal processes in the development of speech and language comprehension and production.<br>Knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders.<br>Knowledge of clinical methods, clinical skills and ethics related to intervention with persons who are diagnosed with communication and swallowing disorders.
