Our PhD degree program in English emphasizes innovative individual scholarship and provides excellent training in research, teaching methods and other professional development skills. As a doctoral candidate, you will participate fully in the life of our dynamic department, serving as a teaching assistant and directing your own writing courses, participating in scholarly conferences, and collaborating with our distinguished and diverse faculty.<br><br>Our world-class faculty are dedicated teachers and mentors.
