强化课程

CMU的英语语言学院（ELI）提供了多种计划来满足您的特定需求。ELI使用密歇根州立大学英语测试（MSUELT）来确定学生是否进入强化课程，双重课程或是否需要英语授课。ELI接受TOEFL，IELTS，MELAB和PTE Academic考试成绩。英语水平测试成绩必须在ELI分班考试日期之前提交给CMU。如果学生当时没有能力测验分数，则ELI将使用MSUELT入学测验分数。删除和添加课程的最后一天是CMU的正式删除/添加截止日期。
CMU's English Language Institute (ELI) offers several programs to meet your specific needs. The ELI uses the Michigan State University English Language Test (MSUELT) to determine whether students place into the intensive Program, the Dual Program, or need no English instruction. <br><br>The ELI accepts TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB and PTE Academic test scores. English proficiency test scores must be submitted to CMU by the date of the ELI placement test. If students don't have a proficiency test score at that time, the ELI will use the MSUELT placement test score. The last day to drop and add classes is CMU's official drop/add deadline. The Intensive Program is for students who have n​o TOEFL scores, have TOEFL scores below 61 iBT, IELTS below 5.5, MELAB scores below 69, PTE Academic scores below 44, students who place into this level based on the MSUELT, or students who want to study only English.
