Students majoring in management have the opportunity to work with local and regional businesses through the Small Business Development Center at Gannon University and the Erie Technology Incubator. The Management curriculum prepares students to successfully plan, organize, staff, lead and control the business enterprise. In today's business environment, managers must think critically, and analyze organizational and market changes. This demands an understanding of process measurement, forecasting, functional interdependence, forward-thinking and analytics. Management students learn firsthand how to develop and manage projects and people by engaging in real-world collaboration with both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Students will experience an innovative education in the Center for Business Ingenuity, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and global software. Students will receive hands-on opportunities through internships and service-learning projects with local and national businesses, as well as through the unique collaboration between Gannon University's Dahlkemper School of Business, Small Business Development Center and Erie Technology Incubator.
