This course offers numerous research opportunities in health sciences.<br>Areas of research expertise include: exercise physiology, health systems policy and management, public health, mother and child health, social work, human communication sciences, musculoskeletal research, nursing and midwifery, rehabilitation and injury prevention, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthoptics, podiatry, prosthetics and orthotics, dietetics and human nutrition and sex, health and society.<br>The course includes four online coursework subjects, which provide training in foundation research skills. These may be waived for students who have completed an Honours degree or equivalent.<br>Mastery of theoretical knowledge and ability to reflect critically on theory and its application, Ability to analyse and synthesise complex information, problems, concepts and theories and apply to established theories from different bodies of knowledge or practice, Ability to generate and assess complex ideas and concepts at an abstract level, Ability to design, use and evaluate research and research methods<br>Advanced communication and technical skills to present coherent arguments and disseminate research findings to specialist and non-specialist audiences<br>This degree will allow you to pursue a career as a researcher in academic research, higher education or the public health sector. It can also serve as a pathway into a PhD.
