This course will prepare you to play a role in tackling a wide range of issues as the world's ecosystems come under increasing pressure. This hands-on degree has a strong focus on practical skills and experience, with several field trips in the UK and abroad. You'll develop habitat monitoring, species surveying and ecological analysis skills. The course allows you to: carry out fieldwork in Exmoor, the New Forest, Spain and Belize complete 2 independent research projects, working alongside our active research staff choose from a selection of modules to tailor your degree to your passions spend a semester studying at a university in Europe or Australasia gain valuable experience from year in employment develop sought-after transferable skills
