The one-year Neuroscience Intercalated BSc combines lectures, seminars and a strong focus on research projects to provide you with a wide-ranging, accelerated exploration of the major topics in the rapidly evolving field of neuroscience. <br>How the brain functions is one of the great questions in science, and how to fix it when it goes wrong is one of the great challenges for humanity. Our intercalated Neuroscience BSc course will give you an insight into how medical science is attempting to address this challenge. You will look in detail at the nervous system and its function, development and disease. You will benefit from lectures and seminars delivered by experts from departments within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) and the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine (FoLSM), as well as visiting lecturers from outside the college, many of whom are the leaders in their fields.
