There is always a need for specially trained graduates to help develop new ways to diagnose and treat diseases. A Medical Biology BSc(Hons) degree sets you up for success in this potentially rewarding area of science research. On this course, youll have the chance to explore cellular biology and molecular genetics, which will lay down the foundations for a fulfilling career in medical research, the pharmaceutical industry, and wider areas of healthcare. Upon completion you could go on to work as a laboratory technician, a medical researcher or something else entirely, such as developing scientific patents.<br><br>Youll gain a firm foundational knowledge in the biological sciences, with the opportunity to investigate topics like genomes and evolution, immunology, and cancer later in your studies. In addition to learning theory, youll gain practical hands-on experience in the labs in our new 18.2-million facilities.
