A completed application for admission. Current, official transcripts from each high school and college you've attended. All transcripts must be issued within the last 30 days and be contained in official sealed envelopes or sent through an electronic transcript system. A final high school transcript will be required upon graduation and completion of all high school course work. An official copy of ACT or SAT scores. These must be sent directly from the testing organization or listed on your official high school transcript. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - 68 on the internet based test, TOEFL - 520 on the paper-based test, IELTS - 6.0

A specialization in Forest Recreation & Park Management provides career-focused, interdisciplinary training for the future managers of our nation's recreational resources.<br><br>Our exceptional, hands-on program trains students to be many things: naturalists who are at ease with plants and animals, educators who are capable of communicating the park's specialness to visitors, managers who are adept at planning and operating a park and forest conservationists who expertly manage and protect our forest recreation and park resources in a sustainable fashion.<br><br>Accredited by the Society of American Foresters, our exceptional program also offers courses recommended by the National Recreation and Park Association.<br><br>Courses emphasize the management of resource-based outdoor recreation, park planning, environmental and cultural interpretation, public opinion surveys and communication.<br><br>Department faculty work closely with local managers and community leaders to provide field training and service learning opportunities in areas such as public relations, social and resource inventory, planning and decision-making, visitor impact assessment and resource monitoring.<br><br>Students are granted unparalleled access to observe public and private sector park management styles on location.
