Certified, translated copies of all transcripts, mark sheets, and diplomas from your school. Mississippi State recommends all school credentials from non-U.S. institutions be submitted through a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services member (NACES member agency, https://www.naces.org/members) for a course-by-course evaluation with grade point average calculation. MSU's preferred transcript evaluation service is TEC or MyIEE.
An official ACT score of 20 or higher, or SAT score of 1030 (only if your GPA is below 3.0 based on our evaluation of your transcripts OR if you are applying for scholarships).
International undergraduate students applying to Mississippi State University must demonstrate English language proficiency in order to register for academic courses. The following methods of a demonstration are approved:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum band score of 6.5.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum 79 for Internet-based test

Students interested in managing and conserving biodiversity, ecosystems, habitats and threatened species along with developing potential solutions or advocacy should consider this concentration. Students enrolled in this concentration are encouraged to pursue an advanced degree. The Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture's mission is to provide information and train individuals for public agencies and private interests to manage wildlife and fish resources. Working to accomplish that mission, department faculty include wildlife scientists, wildlife extension specialists, fisheries scientists, fisheries extension specialists, aquaculture extension specialists, federal wildlife and fisheries scientists in the Fish and Wildlife Cooperative Research Unit, and aquaculture scientists. The Department also has close ties with the USDA APHIS Wildlife Services and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
