ADMISSION BASED ON GRADES FROM HIGH SCHOOL -
For this option, the SAT or ACT is NOT required for admission. This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school). Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission -- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
ADMISSION BASED ON SAT OR ACT RESULTS
The SAT or ACT is required for this option -
This is the best option for students who want admission before completing high school or do not meet the admissions requirements in Option 1. If you have taken the SAT or ACT, you may apply during your final year of high school. SAT results must be sent directly from the College Board.
You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University, you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in aerospace engineering will prepare you for a high-paying career designing or analyzing aircraft and spacecraft. You'll have access to some of the best aerospace facilities in the country-and the chance to work and research with faculty and industry professionals on campus and throughout Wichita, the world's ''Air Capital.'' At Wichita State, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation. You'll start by developing a solid background in math, science and general engineering. Then, you'll move on to aerospace courses covering:<br>aerodynamics – fluid effects on a flight vehicle<br>propulsion – systems associated with producing force or motion<br>stability and control – vehicle behavior and systems required to control it<br>structures – structural components of the flight vehicles<br>An optional track in applied propulsion is available for students majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
