Students admitted to either the M.ICA. degree or the Graduate Diploma will hold a B.Sc. honours degree in a relevant science, including biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics or health science
Minimum B plus (77%) or equivalent in the work of the last four semesters or the last two undergraduate years (last ten full credits)
Post-secondary transcripts and graduation certificates (where applicable) of all previous undergraduate and graduate work are required. This includes transcripts for courses taken on a Letter of Permission, for transfer credit, or on an exchange program. Transcripts must show all course work completed and grades received. If applicable, evidence of degree completion is required. Transcript must include a grading scale or transcript legend.
Please note - Transcripts are not required to be official and final when applying to the School of Graduate Studies. Official transcripts are only required to be submitted if an applicant receives an offer of admission. IELTS (International English language Testing Services) - 6.5, with no band below 6.0.TOEFL iBT - 93 (with a minimum score of 22 in both speaking and writing).

Home to the world-renowned Water Quality Centre, Trent has a remarkable array of analytical equipment, primarily mass spectrometers, and associated sample preparation and sample introduction devices, and is perfectly positioned to offer these programs.<br><br>This eight-month course-based graduate diploma is for students who have practical experience with the operation of analytical equipment in a laboratory setting. You will build a uniform understanding of good laboratory practice, introductory service and maintenance procedures and a sound understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of modern mass spectrometric and chromatographic instruments.<br><br>8 months to complete
