All official Transcripts. A bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent from an accredited college or university. The Master of Arts can be earned by Ph.D. students en route to their Ph.D., after the student has: (a) presented a research seminar approved by the student's general examination committee and (b) passed the oral general examination. It may also be awarded to students who, for various reasons, leave the Ph.D. program, provided that these requirements have been met.
Applicants are required to upload a transcript (may be unofficial at this time) including the key from all attended colleges or universities. The transcript must show the name of the student, name of the issuing institution, name of courses taken, and the grades received in those courses.
The Graduate School does not have a minimum TOEFL or IELTS score requirement. If you are offered admission and accept our offer and have scored below a 27 on the Speaking sub-section of the TOEFL iBT or below an 8.0 on the Speaking sub-section of the IELTS you will be required to take an English placement test at the start of the fall term. Students who do not pass the test will be required to enroll in English Language Program classes.

课程简介
Computing today is pervasive. We carry it around in our pockets. We access massive data‐centers used by thousands of people at a time to perform tasks whose complexity is increasing at an exponential pace. Electrical engineering at Princeton covers this entire range in scale. We are creating the next generation of architectures, software, and networks required to meet the insatiable demand for computation. To enable the adoption of these systems in critical applications, we are developing paradigms for secure computing, from the hardware level and to networks. We are developing systems that overcome the immense challenges related to power consumption, availability and cost, reliability, verification, and design methodology. We are building, testing , and attempting to break systems, then build them again from the ground up to create secure, reliable, and high‐performance multi‐scale computing infrastructure. The doctoral program combines course work and participation in original research. Most students enter the program with an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related discipline. Some have a master's degree, but that is not necessary for success in the program. Every admitted Ph.D. student is given financial support in the form of a first-year fellowship. Students in academic good standing are supported on a teaching assistant or research assistant after the first year.
